After building her career with large accounting firms and private family offices, Angela Kidd recognized an opportunity to combine the best of both worlds. In 2010, she founded Kidd CPA with a simple vision: create a boutique accounting firm where every client receives the personalized attention and trusted guidance typically reserved for a family office. Beginning in a small office on Gulf Shore Boulevard, that vision quickly became the foundation of the firm.

Resilience in the Face of Adversity

In 2022, Hurricane Ian brought unprecedented challenges, leaving the firm’s office under four feet of water. While rebuilding took nearly a year, Kidd CPA never lost sight of what mattered most—its clients. Operating from a temporary location throughout 2023, the team remained committed to providing uninterrupted service, demonstrating the resilience and dedication that define the firm.

Finding a New Home

Less than a year after returning to the rebuilt office, Hurricane Milton once again disrupted operations. Rather than rebuilding a second time, Kidd CPA embraced a new chapter by relocating to its current office on Corsea Del Fontana Way. The move provided a fresh start and a workspace that better supports both the team and the clients they proudly serve.
